This book gave me all the warm & fuzzy feels! I loved it! The magic... the characters... the books! It was so wonderful. Like a cozy vacation. I won't lie, I cried a bit over the end. It's a love story to books. The romance is deeply sweet. I loved the found family relationships. The villain wasn't super strong, but the rest of it made up for that. It was a great experience and stands well on its own.

I’m impressed with the world building! especially since it’s a stand alone fantasy book. I liked elisabeth and nathaniel, they have a cute banter. The concept was great too, I liked that it revolves around a library full of books that have their own personalities. Clearly meant for book lovers! I did find it be a little cheesy at times, but the battle scenes were great. I’m confused on how our main girl was so good with a sword, I don’t remember any mention of her getting trained in that. Either way, it was a fun read, not my absolute favorite. I got kind of bored halfway through. Thank god for Silas otherwise they would’ve been screwed.
