Spanish/English Review.

I think this has got to be my favorite book so far in The Crowns of Croswald series! It feels all so real, how everything is being connected bit by bit and we start discovering a lot more about Ivy, and even feels slightly more mature because of everything that has been going on in the past books!! I know it is a book for kids, but with this one I feel there has been a lot more definition on the characters, we see Ivy grow up, and even a new gang is being formed given that some graduated from school. Plus, this book's adventure and romance is amazing!!

With that being said, I felt that the start of this book was a bit slow, it was a lot about personal discovery and moving along the new team, and until that last bit of 10-15% was when we got to the real plot and ending, and well, I'm just going to say that if you're not a fan of cliffhangers, stay away from this book until we get the next one haha.

Again, I do have to give a standing ovation on how the author mixes in the book's title in the story, in this case, a more direct reference sin the beginning, it was lovely. I loved the whole circus theme, especially how it evolved some character's relationships (wink wink). I love the author's imagination and how she describes this story to her readers, I love it.

Not sure how I'll manage to wait for the book 4 until 2022! I hope time flies by.

Just when you are most filled with hope, it all gets taken away in a matter of a paragraph. I need book 4 immediately!

I felt like this book was slower than the first two and not as much happened in it. Ivy mostly went to class and dove into her family’s history. I did really enjoy the addition of more dragons and the QQC (their club) trials, I thought they brought something different to the book. The only problem I had with the QQC was that there were so many new people and I had a hard time keeping track of who was who.

My favorite character is still Fyn, and I missed his presence in this book. I mean, I knew he wouldn’t be around much because he graduated, but I’m pretty sure I missed him as much as Ivy did

Can’t wait for the fourth and final book. I love the characters and the ending cliff hangar is something that definitely kept me wanting more.

This was my favorite of the series so far!
I loved the dragons, I loved a more in depth look at inklink, learning more about Ivy's family history and the new characters we got to meet/the old characters that were only mentioned in passing in earlier books that we got to know better.
While it kind of seemed like a "filler" book and the middle was a little bit slow, the beginning and end were super fun. Some of the plot twists were super foreshadowed, but I think that was the point. I thought at first it was a little bit too much foreshadowing, but after finishing, it didn't seem like that.
I love how confident Ivy is getting with her magic and also how confident her friends are becoming as well. Rebecca's transformations always add such a magical element to the story. The QQC becoming a group to support and protect Ivy was so heartwarming and the fact that they chose trials to choose who was the bravest and most loyal was a great idea. Although I felt it was a little too fast at first and then cut too short, I did want to see Demaris turn around and become someone Ivy is friends with.
The ending was so fast paced and exciting and ended on such a cliffhanger, I can't wait for the fourth book!

Solid ending. Even if I’m not a fan of cliffhangers in books.

Another brilliant addition to the series. I really enjoyed learning more about the magical world within the books. The storyline and the writing just gets better with each book and the cliffhanger at the end has me like

Still very magical, whimsical, mysterious and slightly thrilling. I think I’ll just read the last instalment straight after this. It was a good decision to wait til I got the 4th and last book before reading this one though, as it was such a cliff hanger, I would have been so mad 😝
