1815. Charles Murray is asked by his brother Lt George Murray to check on someone. It seems that a fellow officer, Lt. James Argo has not heard from his wife in several weeks and is now worried. Charles is happy to oblige and sets off to Edinburgh accompanied by Walter, a young servant.
While the search is not straightforward, George has his own problems not just within his regiment but he is in Belgium waiting the arrival of Bonaparte and his army. Harm could come to both brothers.
Another enjoyable well-written mystery where we get to learn more about the life of George
