This book tried so hard and failed so miserably.
No point in repeating what other reviews said better already. But I personally despise the word "daddy" for many reasons but "mummy" doesn't carry the same baggage for me. And to be honest I think this book made me a little put off of it too.
I admit some of this rating is on me. The idea of mummy/little girl kink isn't appealing to me, never has been, probably never will - but I started with open mind. But the whole execution of it here was... not it. Also, I admit I often think to myself how I don't like slow burn but at the same time without some sort of build up I just don't feel the chemistry of the romance - and this doesn't have a build up, let alone a slow burn. However, the shitty writing is entirely on the book, I couldn't help with that.
