My children and I read through this, one story a week, as part of our homeschooling, and it was really wonderful to hear about the heroic, brave, humble and beloved saints of our faith. A few stories my children found a bit boring, and one story, that of Blessed Pedro Calungsod, was more about his master, Blessed Diego Luis De San Vitores, than about Pedro himself. However, it was a pleasant read, and was peppered with interesting questions which we could discuss and delve deeper into. A good read aloud for family story time.
