I liked this better than the first of the series - although did not like the writing style.

Overall, I really loved this book. I read it all this afternoon in about three hours. I love the characters and the story grabbed my attention and wouldn't let me put it down. I loved the ending, which is SO sweet. The only bad thing about receiving an ARC is that you have to wait even longer for the NEXT book. I can't wait to see where the rest of the series takes Indie and Bishop.

Very good second book. I hope there is more. I love Indie and her powers, I love bishop and how responsible he is, but also how charming and silly he can be; forgiving and honest. Jezebel's sacrifice! I need more!

Honestly I loved the first book, but I felt that Indigo was really whiny and just not thinking correctly in this second installment. I know she went through a lot of crap, but she just kept making stupid decisions that could have been easily fixed if she just spoke up about them. I still liked the writing of the book and I loved how awesome Bishop was throughout the story as well.

great story... some of the ideas were really original and I loved Bishop... and Cruz had potential too, which was kinda sad really...
it didn't get top marks for me simply because Indie was really annoying sometimes... like I just wanted to give her a shake and tell her to stop lying and being such a brat... it was all a bit 'high school' for me but then I suppose that's what the characters were meant to be... so maybe it's just me being old lol!

anyway... good ending with the opportunity for the author to continue the series if she wants to, but I did hear that the publishing company only wanted two books... I'd recommend the series to teens and if there are more books then I'd probably read them, just coz, you know... Bishop <3

This book was exactly what I hoped it would be. It was fun, action packed, emotional. Indie grew as a character and learned how to use her witchy powers. Would like to see another book in this series, there's still a lot to explore.
