Nice, quick read in this universe, and nice to get a different character viewpoint.

Very short story but quite good. Takes only about 10-15 mins to read.

This is a short story, so it's hard for me to review. I don't read a lot of them, and you can't really compare it to a novel!
I felt it came off very "new age"-y, certainly more than the novels in the series do. There's a lot of crying while considering the trees. I realize that is part of Granuaile's test, to become more attuned to nature, but it ended up feeling almost like I was being lectured.
Partly because this is so short - only 10 pages in the PDF version I read - it didn't really add much to the series as a whole. It's a cute little interlude, but I didn't leave it with the feeling that I knew more about Granuaile or the druids.

A very short story showing how Atticus's apprentice is tested by the goddesses to ensure she is fit to continue her druid training. It was ok but really too short to add much to the continuing story.
