I'm always up for a retelling, especially one where Robin Hood and the Sheriff fall in love. It sounded so good and I was excited to give it a try. It was a cute story but I did have some issues with it. First of all, I would like to point out that I do not have issues with a gay Robin Hood. I actually liked that part of the story. Any issues I had was with other things.
I will admit that I always have extremely high expectations when it comes to retellings which is why I haven't like the majority of them. Honestly, I thought Robin and the Sheriff should have had more troubles between them. Come on, an enemy to lover storyline they are going to have problems before the love happens.
