o.25 point reduction simply because i wish Patricia Briggs had woven abit more of the Sam and Ariana short story into this book. Without it, their connection and Sams change in his outlook on life feels flimsy somehow

A book, a series, I can't put down. I'm too afraid Mercy keeps living her life while the book is closed and she might need me reading her story to succeed in her adventures.

For me this series is getting better as it goes. This book was more about Mercy's relationships, particularly with Adam. The plot line with the Fae took a backseat in the story. Yet, Briggs does a great job of intertwining everything somehow.

Oh, I’m so glad this book was much better than the last one and the series is not going downhill.
A lot of things are happening in this book and of course because she can’t catch a break Mercy is right in the middle of everything.
