Love the cartoon-style illustrations (dogs and hats on every page made it a fave with my toddler). I have a weakness for stories told in verse, and this was a particularly fun-to-read and entertaining one.

I have loved this book for years but only just now am reviewing it. Oh Chris Van Dusen and his rhymes always make me smile. I think my storytime audience is going to enjoy this one!

Cute, creative, great illustrations. Not my favorite Van Dusen book, but definitely fun.

I love this series. Mr. McGee and his dog Dee go for a boat ride and end up on a total adventure!

Extraordinary illustrations. The composition, design and color are great. It makes it all exciting and very professional. I'm not a big fan of rhyming books but this was actually very fun to read as an adult. It surely is a great collection to have as a paperback too. The kids had lots of fun, the story incited their imagination and discussion. I love a great children's book with a lot of improbable and surreal adventures.
