Thank you to St. Martin's Griffin for the eARC. I've found that this series to be on the border of women's fiction and romance. This book leans a little closer to fiction than the previous two books.
Since this book was book 3 in a trilogy, I was just grabby hands, give me. I didn't read the synopsis. That being said, I don't know it was a road trip, so I was pleasantly surprised (why yes, the title should have indicated that as a possiblity if I had bother to make that connection).
Other pluses:
- takes place in Ireland
- LoTR references
- Eamon works in geospatial design (briefly mentioned once, but that's in regards to work details)
- Carla knows how to fix cars
