Love. This is my second read and I appreciate Morrison's mastery so much more this time around. Just a beautifully written story full of so many breathtaking lines and passages.

brilliant. morrison is one of the best writers to ever exist. the intention behind each sentence weaves so much power. so much story without unnecessary vocabulary. cannot say enough good things about this story, one of the most enjoyable assigned readings i’ve had in a long time.

Morrison's writing is one of a kind. Her books are so unique and captivating. Always enjoy reading her works, despite the ending being a little disappointing in this one.
