Tentative rating 4/5. Let me sit with this for a spell before I write a formal review.

I definitely do not understand the hype!
well, the hype was for the author, but if all his books are written the same way, then its a no from me.

i had to read and listen to the book twice!!!! and still, did not see what was the purpose, or the plot of the book.
It's all loose, and out there, felt incomplete, and weird, it's like picking a long series, and deciding to watch 2 episodes from the middle. hard to grasp, understand, and you see no finale or point!

it was a weird experience, that i definitely did not enjoy, I could see where the potential might have been at.
the main idea ( the little bits of it) , might have been executed way better. It's an interesting premise regarding spies, different allegiance, and the connections between different people, and groups, within the area, or the family!

i could not understand the point!
