What I Did Like:
+Early on there’s that tantalizing “you’re keeping something from me” vibe with the main character. If you like that in a book as much as I do, you’ll love this.
+The mystery itself builds nicely. You are given crumbs of information that help you piece things together in a pleasing way.
+The main character is good. She’s a solid character who takes pride in her work. She’s relatable and real. I could see her featuring in more books. You want good things for her.

Who Should Read This One:
-Fans of mysteries with twists and secrets.

So pissed how the police just glossed over the fact that Molly is neurodivergent. WTF. I didn’t like this book much because Molly rambled a lot.

I have...extremely complicated feelings toward this book. I'd love to elaborate but I'm afraid I would talk in circles for multiple paragraphs. So I'll leave it to this, neurotypical people need to FULL STOP writing autistic characters then vehemently denying they're autistic and claiming "quirky" especially for women, it's actually dangerous. Also it's very obvious you don't actually know autistic women, as only traits used were boy traits, which if you had any research at all you'd know women/girl present very differently than boys. Moving right along, Molly's story lines of being taken advantage of were sad and maddening because that part is actually true. Autistic women are 3 x more likely to be abused do to not understanding social norms and other situations to the like. In this instance with Molly falling victim to those instances an actual label would have been great to shed some much needed light on that satistic.

Oops I ended up rambling regardless.
