Couldn't get along as the main character was so unlikable, not even in a charming anti hero sense - just a horrible person with petty cruelties on his family.

The adventures of Sebastian Dangerfield; an horrendously rowdy man living an unapologetic bohemian lifestyle as an expatriate in postwar Dublin.

It’s an amazing take on “The self, and its conflicts” literature; beautifully written, between first and third person, overflowing with mischief and dark humour, and with long streams of consciousness that go directly from the page to the nervous system.
