Good book! It has good stories, some from the point of views of other characters. Many involve family, all of them have humor and show the strength of character. Especially loved the Bigfoot stories. 5 stars!

I'm so glad I decided to read this collection of shorts from the Dresden world. I thought I'd wait longer to get to them but I missed the world so much I just said why not. Some stories were certainly better than others. My favorites were the ones from other characters points of view, specifically the Molly ones, the Butters one and even the glimpse of Maggie's perspective in zoo day. But honestly they were all fantastic snippets into a world that we don't see much of in the second half of the series, with good reason, and I really really enjoyed it!

I’d read several of these already from previous collections. Can we get the next Dresden book now, please?

Stories from The Dresden Files world are always welcome,  and bring the snark and humor along with new adventures and exploration of characters that only appear briefly in the novels. I especially enjoyed the 3 Bigfoot stories featuring River Shoulders and his son Irwin,  as well as the final novella that brings voice to Mouse (Harry's dog) and his young daughter.
James Marsters continues to do outstanding voice work on the audio edition.

9 out of 10.
I was about to give this an 8, but bumped it a star higher after the last story.

I surprisingly really liked these? I had heard a lot going into it about Dresden’s male gaze (and that was definitely there), but there was a lot else to balance that out that I actually loved. And Harry himself turned out to be a lot more wholesome of a character than I thought he was going to be.

Dare I read the actual series now?
