I didn't think that All the Feels could top my love for Spoiler Alert, but it has?! Spoiler Alert was a love letter to fandom and fatness, and All the Feels continues the trend while adding in SO MUCH SPICE, banter, and two stubbornly determined people that make a perfect pair.

I loved that All the Feels continues to capitalize on the joys of fic in fun and inventive ways. While SA gave us insight into two writers, ATF lets us follow two people who love it (and Alex does write it, very openly!) and use it as inspiration in numerous ways. I enjoyed that this story takes place concurrently against SA. You get some overlap with the convention that we see at the end of SA, but the story continues on from there and expands the world a bit further.

Alex is steamy, charming, famous, and wealthy - in that order. He's best known for his role as Cupid on God of the Gates (the fantasy Greek mythology series a la Game of Thrones in this universe) and as a bit of a troublemaker. When his latest incident puts him in the hot seat ahead of the show's final season and threatens his career, the show's main producer, Ron, hires his cousin Lauren to watch over Alex and report back if he gets out of hand to avoid bad press. Lauren is in need of a break from her previous job in the ER as an on-call therapist, and decides to take the gig to help fund the extended vacation she desperately needs. The two reluctantly agree to each other's presence. And though Alex calls her Nanny Clegg and Lauren tries to keep her professional distance, forced proximity quickly bonds the pair as something more than coworkers. But as other scandals arise, Lauren and Alex must balance the weight of their feelings against what they want in their careers - or risk losing each other altogether.

Once again, Olivia Dade does a great job of presenting a realistic relationship and highlighting characters I don't get to see on page often enough. Lauren is plus-sized (and actually plus-sized, not watered down plus-sized to "appeal"), and Alex struggles with ADHD. I also adore how confident Lauren was as a character. We need more confident, take-no-shit fat women in fiction! I think a lot of fat women, or even "unconventionally attractive" women can relate to her character.

This book is VERY sex positive! None of the sex scenes were fade-to-black and often got pretty NSFW which was a-okay with me, but be warned if that's an issue for you.

Some CW's: domestic abuse (off-page, but discussed in detail), fatphobia (both on and off-page). I don't know if there's a name for this, but there is some time spent from Lauren's POV that explores being called ugly by societal standards, and how those characters both address and react to that. However, I think Olivia does a fantastic job exploring those nonsense beliefs in a healthy way, and I hope you find this content enlightening and healing - not triggering.

Tropes (most prominently) featured: forced proximity (living arrangements AND a road trip!), there's-only-one-bed, and soulmate markings. (No, really: soulmate markings. Maybe not quite what you're thinking - but GENIUS.) There are plenty of tropes to go around when Alex and Lauren get together later though!

(I didn't see any obvious spots where there could be a third couple on the way in this universe. That doesn't mean there won't be, but I don't currently have any expectations for more. But if there WERE more, I'd be very excited since both books have thoroughly impressed me and I'm committed to reading everything Olivia writes from now on - including her back catalog, which I may be exploring next time I need a romantic pick-me-up.)

All the Feels definitely gave me all the feels! I couldn't put this book down once I started, and it kept me up last night wondering how it would end. This was not only a fantastic follow-up to a book I loved last year, but an amazing romance that keeps you engaged. Definitely put this on your radar! Regardless of whether you've read Spoiler Alert, you can pick up All the Feels and get totally swept away.

I received a digital advanced copy of this title in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much to Avon for providing me access!

yes. a million times yes. the way it’s not immediate love and they learnt the ins and outs of each other before finally being together, falling in love slowly and then being ripped apart when they finally can have each other and then clawing back to each other in the end. i loved it. the characters, the dialogue, the dynamics, the humor, the plot, the forced proximity. it was just stunning, well done. i loved this book so much.

Eh. “I don’t deserve love” isn’t my favorite trope. Plus: cowardly. If you know, you know.

Sadly, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first book in the series. I just couldn't really get into the romance because Alex spent the first half of the book throwing thinly veiled insults at Lauren (they're played off as "misunderstandings" later, but they still seemed unnecessary) and just generally being childish. Lauren was fine, not my favourite Olivia Dade FMC, but I liked her and she deserved better (and certainly better treatment than what she got).

Definitely my fave of the trilogy! Alex and Lauren are too good. Love the ADHD rep and Lauren’s entire vibe— I’ve never read a character like her, she’s so incredibly relatable and strong and delightful.
