I never got to read the Sailor Moon manga when it was initially in print, so I am super excited to finally get to read it as an adult! These editions are very nice--good feel, good heft, nice colored pages preceding each chapter. I'm so happy that Sailor Moon has come back around and I can't wait until the second volume comes out!

My first manga I have ever read! I really liked it. I had to look up the best way to read it and it took me a hot sec to figure out what some of the terms were, etc. But once I got it I was really able to enjoy it. I think I'll be continuing this for now. So far, my fave is Sailor Moon (obv) and Sailor Mars.
To be blunt. This is a 4.5 star for me. The only reason is can’t be a perfect 6 is that I feel some things are not explained well. I understand the quick media that is manga but their powers aren’t as clear as in the anime, nor is the explanation of who the scouts are.
If I didn’t have the anime nostalgia to fall back on, I probably would have been confused and slightly lost for parts of this. I do think many parts were done incredibly well. I am thrilled everyone isn’t a raging idiot about the “transformations”
All in all. Love this and will be continuing the series.
