I can't believe I'm only just now reading Sailor Moon. It's beautifully illustrated, the characters are fun and engaging, there's romantic and mystical intrigue, the poses are super fun, and the outfits are super cute. I mean, it's a famous series for a reason, let's be honest here. I'm already trying to get my hands on volume 2. Read it.

Without a doubt the best edition of "Sailor Moon" I've ever read! The large-page format was nice, the cover is beautiful, and the translation is perfect - also, the translator's notes in the back are informative, interesting, and overall super helpful. They also address mistakes / strange translation choices from past (English) versions of "Sailor Moon" which I really liked.

As far as the story goes, it's gripping (and adorable!) as always. Usagi is hilarious, Luna is trying her best, and the other Sailor Guardians make for a delightful ensemble of magical girl characters. I cannot recommend this book enough!
