I loved this manga!! I really relate a lot to Usagi (sailor moon) and I love being able to watch her and the other guardians coming together. I also love the romance between tuxedo mask and sailor moon, and the moment when she found out his identity and when he found out hers.
fast-paced

This is my second time reading the Sailor Moon mangas and already after this first one I am so excited to continue. I knew on this re-read I had to read these gorgeous eternal editions!

Review for the whole series.
That ending sure was abrupt. I liked the message and the feminism portrayed throughout the whole series. However, I wished we could have spend more time getting to know the characters and seeing them grow and evolve instead of reading about the same fights over and over again.

Review for:
Pretty Gaurdian Sailor Moon: Eternal Edition, Volume 1
By
Naoko Takeuchi

More like 4.5 stars.

This was my first foray into the Sailor Moon world. I’m not sure what I got myself into being that I'm not a comic / manga fan. I’m barely an anime fan (Hayao Miyazaki obsessed though). I’m more of a horror, supernatural graphic novel kind of fan. But my niece wanted this really bad for Christmas and I thought it would be cool to read something together. I’m so glad I did.

It took me a bit to get used to considering it reads back to front and right to left as standard for Japanese works. Usagi Chan was also a character I wasn’t too impressed with even when she became Sailor Moon. She cries way too easily and didn’t take things seriously at all. But then she grew on me and I couldn’t put it down. I started out loving Sailor Mercury, but then my favorite became Sailor Jupiter for obvious reasons as being the rebel, strong one. She's like Thor, but better. Lol.

The Eternal Edition is beautifully drawn and even though some of the translations don’t always flow, I definitely enjoyed it and want to read more!
