Read volumes 1 to 3 so far. Nothing takes me back to my childhood like Sailor Moon, I love this series.

a beautiful edition of an old favorite!
every time I read "in the name of the moon, I'll punish you!" I have to say it out loud. one of the best lines ever in the history of the world.
such wonderful reminders of why I roll my eyes when people say SM is fluffy fluff:
when Naru-chan's mother is possessed and tries to kill her (her mom's face is seriously nightmare inducing)
the crystal seminar
Queen Beryl - needs those living sacrifices along with the silver crystal
the six o'clock demon bus
yeah, the living sacrifice efforts - "your groom is here for you. won't you join me for our wedding . . . in hell?" after which, I'll stuff you in the body of a mannequin and give you to Queen Beryl
Chiba's childhood - are you crying yet?
of course, these girls are 14, so we do have the goofy middle school stuff and Usagi's usual airheadness ("my hobbies are eating, sleeping, and slacking off") and OF COURSE
our gentleman thief in all his glory, and the romance - makes you forget he's like 18, and she's 14, and at this point in the series they figure out each other's real identities but not their REAL IDENTITIES

Just finished rewatching the anime a few months ago and decided to pick this up. In my opinion this pales in comparison to the anime. But still enjoyable enough to maybe continue on.
