I just could not get into this one. I tuned in for a while and tuned back out. The whole friend thing seemed like kind of unnecessary plot device. Like was he

magical?

Also did the end say that he had a confederate flag for decor??? Everyone sucks. Getting drunk while pregnant, being mean to your pregnant partner. Not into it.

This book was super slow with many unlikeable and selfish characters. Very unlike any Lisa Jewell novel I have read before. I only read this because I have loved almost everything else I have read by Lisa Jewell (her thrillers). This is not a thriller but is trashy chick lit.

I only finished it because I had already  invested so much time.
