I love this series. I continue to love this series. This one may not have been my favorite ever, but it was a good solid book, lots of fun and action. I love the worldbuilding, the culture, and the characters.

Oh Owl, you haven't grown a bit since the first book, still don't look before you leap.

Owl spends another book running around exotic locals, this time looking for a way to save her boyfriend Rynn from a life threatening situation, all while avoiding a brewing supernatural war.

As I mentioned earlier, Owl has not grown much since the beginning of the series. She still refuses to accept help, yet is rescued in almost every crazy situation she ends up in. Disaster follows where ever she goes, and she doesn't take responsibility for her actions.

The only good thing about this book is that a few people inform Owl of her many issues, and also tell her where exactly to shove it.

I think this may be the last book I read in this series. It's lost most of the fun I found interesting in the first place.
