This may be my favorite comic now. After Good Omens I thought Neil Gaiman's writing may not be for me, but I think I just wanted to see a faster-paced story from him. I recommend this for everyone, but skip 24 Hours if you can't stomach edgy 90's psycho horror. And skip the intro, it has spoilers.

It is so hard for me to rate this book. 

I am not a fan of the art. It just does not speak to my aesthetic, but it totally fits the vibes of the comic. 

I think the story that is being told is fantastic.  It is so thought provoking. I just don't think I personally can deal with so much visual, grafic  violence .

It is however a great character study and on par with other Gaiman books.

The narration was amazing. That is about all I enjoyed. I understand it can be difficult to translate a graphic novel into an audiobook, but i found the netflix show adaptation much more entertaining. Some of the subplots were very boring and there was a lot of abuse conveyed on women that I felt was over the top and added for no apparent reason.

Honestly, I watched the show and loved it so I knew most of the plot points going in. Overall, the story was so compelling and weird and I thought it was cool. The only thing that kind of threw me was the gritty DC art style at times, loved the character designs tho.
