Definitely a 4.5 star read. Another WEST Protection book that I was able to complete in one sitting.

I enjoyed Michael and Corrine's initial interactions. There was so much heat and chemistry between them. I appreciated the key word of the book, "foreplay".

Corrine was so focused on supposedly disliking everything about Michael, she had tunnel vision where he was concerned. I could even understand Corrine's interest in the archaeologist, thinking she was finally breaking her streak of bad luck with men. She couldn't see what was staring her in the face.

There were a couple of surprises that occurred later in this book along with a little mystery and suspense. The culprit was somewhat obvious, but the reasoning was not. BTC was not lacking in steamy scenes or expressions of emotions. I also enjoyed getting to revisit the other members of WEST Protection, as Michael and Corrine find their HEA.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.

Corrine and Michael seem to loath each other and like to irritate each other when together and now they have to work on a security assignment and things are about to change. Corrine is at a bit of a cross road at life, she is feeling overwhelmed with the work for WEST as well as wanting to sell her prize barrel racing horse and show she has what it takes while Michael has to finally act on his feelings and get over what happened in the past in order for a chance at a HEA. This is the perfect mix of action, mystery, the past, love as well as family and being seen as more.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Corrine and Michael have a compelling story. It is filled with passion, heat, romance, twists, suspense, drama and danger. The dialouge and interactions between Corrine and Michael is on point with the banter and chemistry. I was hooked from cover to cover with this book.

Corrine Wynton is the sister of the WEST security group family. Can she ever keep a man in her life with protective brothers? She'd rather be training her horses than manning phones. Mike is their pilot, retired from the military and a pain in her butt. Both are thrown together on a security detail. Someone is determined to sabotage this archaeological dig, who and why?
Their chemistry is off the charts, she can't stand his ways and yet lust can't be stopped. Is there relationship forbidden territory? He shouldn't be looking at the Wynton's little sister.
When danger happens, love will find a way. Will they all survive?
Great series, I highly recommend them all.
