Bear is getting ready to sleep when there's a knock on the door and several more! Silly book to share with wordplay and jokes.

2020 storytime theme: Hibernation

My kids loved this book. They had me read it more than once the first time we read it. It’s cute and my daughter thought the jokes were funny.

I laughed so hard reading this book! Great dad level knock knock jokes! The animals keep knocking on bear's door to come into his house. As more arrive you realize they are throwing him a "Happy Hibernation" party before he hibernates for the winter. My favorite part is when the animals tuck him into bed and wish him happy hibernation. Great story for storytime.

Bear just wants to go to bed but other animals keep "knock knocking" on his door. Told almost entirely in knock knock jokes, this is a fun story that elementary age kids will love.

Fun and playful, love the use of the big text to convey sound.

I don't know about sidesplitting but it's a pretty adorable read. It's impressive that they managed to tell a full story in knock knock jokes though.
