This was a little tough to get into because the grumpy character really nailed it, and straight insulted Olivia a few times. But I stuck with it and I began to like Asher and I enjoyed their HEA. There was so much to this story that was so well written that I have high hopes for more novels by her.

What a fun read!

I read this with a book club and we had a schedule to keep. I could not keep the schedule - I HAD TO READ AHEAD! I didn't want to put this book down.

I love Olivia SO much! She is such a fun girl who really puts a positive spin on everything. She accepts her faults and almost wears them like a badge of honor.

This is your typical Christmas read. Girl meets boy somewhere. There are great, wonderful, sweet times and then something gets in their way. Boy does something sweet to win girl back. HEA! I know this is formulaic, but I just can't get enough. I LOVE CHRISTMAS MOVIES AND BOOKS!

Hidden in between the Christmas and romance are corporate executives taking advantage of interns and sleazy superstars getting away with sexually assaulting women by paying them off and making them sign NDAs. It's not all candy canes and sparkling lights, people!

Overall, so fun. I loved this for a Christmas in July read.

I read several holiday/Christmas books in December and this was by far my favorite. Includes my favorite tropes: fake dating, grumpy sunshine, one bed, and office romance! So good!! Definitely going reread next holiday season.

Update: I reread this a year later and loved EVERY second of it as much as the first time. Such an underrated book.
