A scurvy pirate and his sea hag

Avast ye mateys! Branko and Magda are back for book two of their seafaring adventure. Once again, I loved all the pirate-y goodness of this, from the pirate lingo to the challenge of the black spot, to Magda sewing a Jolly Roger. She and Branko are co-captains, and while they are in agreement on sharing their ship, they are at odds over the future. Magda wants to sail the high seas. Branko wants to be a farmer. Also, there’s his jealousy when she feeds from the other men. The heat and tension are turned up a notch between the two leads, and the steamy scenes were hot. I particularly liked the sword fighting. Magda is fierce. There is one scene where someone challenges her position as captain and let’s just say, she takes no prisoners. Check out this book, all ye vampire pirate lovers!
