“They would have to be even blinder than a Silent Brother, Uncle Jem agreed. Because I can see you, James. I will always look to you for light.”
Anything with my babies in it deserves 5 stars.

With Bane Chronicles' short story and this one, I'm really liking James Herondale. Now I can't wait until TLH. Oh, well.

Awh, this one was so cute. I honestly didn't care too much with Simon's part of this one, but the message he learned was nice. But Matthew and James <3

For ages, I've been wondering about how so many people knew about the Last Hours characters. Like, the books didn't even come out, how do you all know the explosion Matthew did to be expelled from school? Now, I know the answer. I am so dumb. I am both happy and regretful that I read this, I loved little James so much and now I am thinking about how the fuck am I supposed to wait till March. Little James and Matthew have already won my heart.

Another James Herondale story. This one seemed to be a setup for The Last Hours trilogy. I must say, I did enjoy it! I really liked Matthew and his relationship with James. Poor James was lovely too. I wasn't too keen on the Simon parts though. They were a bit boring.

When I first started this novella, I HATED Matthew (I even told all my friends who had previously read these). I thought he was like all those annoying preppy boys that everyone knows at some point in their lives. His character actually throughly surprised me. His love for his father really touched me and how he just really cared for the people around him. I also loved learning about James, because he's Will and Tessa's son. And I loved seeing Will as a father. It was hilarious.

The novellas get better and better as I progress and I'm excited for the next one!
