It was okay, the story started to drag near the end and the "epic battle" wasn't much of a battle but it was a short and interesting read. I liked to see the land which the story is set in and the inside of the wastes of Chaos.

A pretty good entry to the series bogged down by some pacing issues. The beginning of the book feels dragged out and the adventure only starts a good 100 pages in. Subsequently the ending of the book feels phoned in. We are introduced to the big bad at the end and the conflict that comes with him is resolved via deus ex machina.
