I don’t know what most people expected when they picked up this book, but I got what I came for, which was entertainment.

This book was a little slow for me but I love the main characters energy she really portrays the struggles of a vampire and the love story is a cute one!

Okay, I am just as surprised as you to be giving a supernatural romance a four star rating. But guys it’s Ali Hazelwood witchcraft. She is perfection and can do no wrong. BRB off to try Lana Ferguson monster romance now!

Definitely overhyped and not at all what I expected going into it. To me, this is not a romance book; it’s a paranormal mystery.

The first 15% was really difficult to get into and trying to understand all the politics between humans, weres, and vampyres. Then the story picked up a bit, but I was shocked that basically the entire book is about the mysterious disappearance of her friend. The romance was a super slow burn and left a lot to be desired. I didn’t think they had much chemistry.

I also counted 5 paragraphs that were repeated by mistake. Did no one edit this?
