Valerius has a fascinating history as a Roman noble with lots of early interaction with other characters. Somehow Tabitha tames this cold beast.

Holy Cow! I loved how the author told the story of Valerius! Moving and fun!

I liked this one more than I thought I would! When we have previously seen Tabitha, she’s been kind of annoying, so I was worried about that. But she’s also very sweet and looks out for those in her circle.
The Romans in this series are my favorite! Valerius’s past is tragic, but I’m glad she didn’t go into as much detail as she did with Zarek. I loved Zarek’s book, but his history was hard to listen to. Valerius’s is difficult to hear as well, but it wasn’t as bad.

Seize The Night, book 8 of the Dark-Hunters series, by Sherrilyn Kenyon (McQueen) @mysherrilyn. This is a reread of this series for me. Long overdue, at that! 😂 I am reading this series in the order from Sherrilyn’s website/Goodreads.
Eek! I loved getting to know Tabitha & Valerius more! They've been in prior books but in this one, they meet & fall in love. With everything against them, they beat the odds, & have their HFN. 🥰 if you like Roman history, MF, PNR, & immortality, this book is for you!

Again, she does it exactly right. She can bring two characters together in no other way, it is just perfect. The last few pages of this book KILLED me with the drama and angst. People who know me, know I love bunnies and glitter in my books so I cried like a baby, but a brilliant book with a brilliant ending!
