Gross facts about flies incorporated into a picture book story which relates common school experiences as if the fly attends elementary school. The illustrations are great, the text made me a bit queasy. Nevertheless, kids will love this and Cronin's related "diary" stories.

Enjoyable, funny and not stuck in the old gender stereotypes. "I never thought about it that way." Great book to read to all little boys and girls as everyone needs to remember that you can always dream big.

A little girl returned this today and the cover was so cute that I did a quick read-through. Adorable from cover to cover--I really liked the bit about being a hero.

A really cute concept, but after seeing a fly carcass stuck in a spiderweb outside my kitchen window for the last few weeks, I'm surprised that Fly made it this long while being best friends with Spider. I think that relationship would be a lot like that of the lynx and the chicken in Barnyard.

Just as good as the previous books in the series. Cute and silly and great illustrations.
