i ended up enjoying this book a lot more than i thought i would; so well written i forgot that the main character wasn't real, helped show people with disabilities in a new perspective, and showed the main characters relationships grow closer through this whole journey.
i also enjoyed how it didnt have some miraculous, unrealistic happy ending, although i am still kind of sad about them not being able to be reunited all together as a family

Ugh I really wanted to love this book. I read the authors note and really enjoyed that and enjoyed the details I guess I just didn’t like the execution of it? Like maybe it could’ve been written with a different plot and ending? Idk but I learned so much and overall still liked it. It was just quite the long book too to be left this way haha

Interesting and complex mystery. I really enjoyed the main character and learning more about
Angelman syndrome. I liked the writing style, although at times the main character was a little overwritten (even with including some of her thoughts in footnotes instead of in the actual story). The ending was also not wholly satisfying to me but I understand why the author chose to write it that way.
