That was a page-turner!

Julian parent's died three years ago. Since then a lot has changed. He takes care of his younger sister & tries to lead his father's company, that's about to be split. What he would like to do is play his game. As he starts to dig deeper into the company things don't add up, he starts seeing things and that's only the start!

Quinn is an agent and her work keeps her very busy. Still, she finds time for Julian's sister and their strange kind of friendship. When he asks her to help, she jumps on board.

Not to give to much away, that was amazeballs! :) Unexpected twists and turns, intensity building with each chapter... it's seriously good. :)

This was certainly a page turner. Don't want to give away too much but lots of unexpected twists and the author did well to make the intensity build per chapter! Can't wait to read the next one :D

If you are looking for a good sci-fi romance book, then this is for you!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The Heir of Arcadia is about Julian Collins trying to save his father's company. He notices that a part of the company is burning money. He enlists the help of Quinn to figure out what his father was doing. They, along with their friends, discover something far more significant than they could believe.

The book starts off painfully slow and tedious. And Quinn is very dumb about her parents, How could an adult be that stupid? She behaved like she was a teenager.

But the book gets better around the 40% mark. It was so good that I am now interested in the next book.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow I was on the edge of my seat with this book. Was a bit confused at the beginning not realising that Collins was the Commander as well but once that connection was realised I was pulled into the story. Wasn’t what I expected with many twists and turns and the flight back had the tension building in me. The ending was not what I expected, another book is definitely needed.

Heir of Arcadia is a fun read. I liked how it was basically a sort of spin-off of the Waypoint series. While I had only read Waypoint and Intel, I knew enough about most of the characters in this book to follow along and enjoy their new adventure years after the disaster that brought them all together. This one, though, is a little more adult, and much more sci-fi. It turns out that the game some of the characters enjoyed playing back in Waypoint was based on a real place. Arcadian Fortress was just a computer game to them... until they discovered Arcadia was a real planet. Now, the group of friends must band together to try and help save Arcadia from the clutches of the Draconians, just like in the game. Easy, right? Not at all.
I really enjoyed Heir of Arcadia. There's a lot going on, and it kept me engaged and eager to see how it would all play out. I liked reuniting with characters from Waypoint (and Intel), too. I had grown to love them, so I'm glad the authors brought them back. Their lives had changed a bit since last meeting them, and they change even more during this adventure.
The world-building for Arcadia is vivid and fascinating, and it really did feel like being on another planet at times. That was a plus for me.
That ending, though. Dang. Now I want to know more.
If you're a fan of the authors' previous series, or just a fan of sci-fi in general, you'll want to give Heir of Arcadia a whirl.
