This was so good! I loved Sheriff Hamstead in this and Mr. Canis. The change of setting was a great switch up and worked so well with the plot. We got some fantastic character development with Sabrina. Loved meeting Scrooge, these smaller characters have such great comedy payoffs!

This is like A Series of Unfortunate Events meets Once Upon a Time. Humans and 'Everafters' aka fairytale characters live side by side but the characters don't age while humans do. The Sisters are descendants of the Grimm Brothers. The whole premise of Grimm Brothers stories being documentation rather than fairytales made up is fantastic.

When the Sisters Grimm return to New York, they’re surprised to find the city teeming with Everafters. And when the only way to get help for Puck and bring solace to the New York Everafters is to do a favor for the Queen of Faerie, an investigation is inevitable.
This was definitely one of the weaker stories in the series. The lack of fun banter with the citizens of Ferryport Landing, and Puck’s instigation was definitely missing in the bulk of the story. The cover art left little to the imagination when it comes to uncovering the story’s villain, though that could be because I’m a bit older than the target audience. Overall, though, it sticks to its mission as a fun tale that reimagines classic fairytales adapting to the roles of the modern world.

I loved the addition to the new characters in this book, I grew up watching the wizard of Oz so to have him incorporated into this series of books was awesome. I also loved the twist they gave to the wicked witch of the west (But that's all I will say on the matter as don't want to spoil it ;))
