some good nuggets of wisdom buried in repetitive or downright unilluminating meditations. the fact that it took me 6 months to finish a book with 14pt font should say something to you. i read the appendix bursting anecdote and never really recovered from there i’m afraid.

if you are a writer, you will learn nothing new from this book and i would recommend writing with quiet hands or bird by bird over this book any day of the week.
