A rick and morty pocket (pokemon parody) verse were pocket ricks have taken over and enslaved pocket mortys. we follow a morty whose chip is removed and is set to free the other pocket mortys. Deemed "evil" morty by the pocket ricks, he must escape trainers and battle other mortys. The end twist is also hilariously cruel sticking to the rick and morty episode formula.

Even though I have never played the app I still enjoyed this very much.

If you have also never played the app, it seems to be a parody of Pokemon Go, there are a bunch of different Mortys and they are hunted and held captive by Ricks and then forced into battle.

Very fun and true to the show.

This is my least favorite Rick and Morty trade paperback (so far). Granted, I didn't really play the Pocket Mortys game, and I was a little too old to be into Pokémon when they were popular--but still, this just wasn't good. There wasn't much of a plot, but for the little bit there was it was somewhat confusing.
