She gets me every time, but every time I think I'm ready for it, but I never am. Lawd, the feels. So. Many. Feels. You have to consume Abbi's book in one sitting because the emotional bridges don't allow for a break. And that's cool, time management has always been my strength!!

Only fitting that my first “loved it” in a while would be Abbi Glines. She’s just got a way with these characters that I love. I truly love how complicated these characters are, but it never feels like you’re dwelling on the emotions. Really really well done. It really handled Scarlets molestation well, and her poor recollection due to others influencing it.

I really can’t wait for the next book, but I’m really heartbroken about Dallas ☹️

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED BETWEEN THE EFFIE VAUGHN EDITION TO THIS GARBAGE FIRE!?!?!

Sorry I usually don't bash so hard but, ya girl is a little ticked off with how this series is going. It's not its nitty-gritty, rough edge, smutfest that it once was. It's become a Avon classic with southern soap opera thrown in. And hoping the next book is good or this girl is out.

4 Boys South of the Mason Dixon Stars

Ok, I enjoyed the book maybe a little more than the first because I knew the character. And I wanted to know how it was going to work out.

I love Abbi’s style of writing, and I loved that she had all the brothers involved. And again I love their momma.

I guess what I don’t get was why there was a Diesel at all. We didn’t really need him. Scarlett and everything that was going on with her was enough of a storyline without adding in this Diesel fella.

I think this story was genuine and different but I think the ending was rushed and I wished it hadn’t been.

I liked the narrations, took a little bit for me to like Patrick as Bray but once I got into his way of narrating it was all good.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

***Audiobook Review***
3.5 Stars

I enjoyed this book but I'm not a huge fan of love triangles and even though this book isn't a love triangle, their love story started with a love triangle. Both of them are cheaters and that really caused issues with his family. Even though it works out for them all in the end, I still felt bad for the wronged brother. But in typical Abbi fashion, I loved them all.

The narration was good, they are both new to me narrators and I thought the fit very well.

5 star read!

Wow! I can't describe how amazing this book is! Bray and Scarlet were made for one another! This is a most read story. It is not your typical love story, Scarlet and Bray both have things they most overcome in order to be together. Abbi outdid herself with this one.
