Not as good as Jada of the Raptors. This one treats dinosaurs as more of a pet, which is still a neat concept, but the cohesion in Jada was far more interesting. Some of the plot involving a way in and out of the village seemed unnecessary and there were some confusing bits. But the dinosaurs are awesome and the author is excellent at descriptions and action.
