Rina has found her powers, and it might be more than she bargained for.

Still, at The Magical Creatures Academy, Rina has to learn to control her magic. While also learning to control her feelings for a certain fae prince who is utterly off-limits.

This book is the second book in the Magical Creatures Academy series. In comparison to the first one, the story does pick up. In this book, there is a little be more adventure, a little bit more danger and a little bit more forbidden love.

This was a really good book! I was happy to read about Rina again, and we met some new characters. Sadie is my favorite character after Rina now! I thought Jas and Wren were pushed to the side a bit in this book. Although it looks like something might be paying off for Jas with Ky now! Speaking of romance, Leander is a dream, and I completely ship him with Rina. I wish we could have read about their summer break, but I guess not as these do follow everyone's semesters at the academy. I feel awful for Rina; she goes through a real tragedy in this one, and
Spoilerloses her lion. I knew Wendi was suspicious from the start! I think Rina will eventually get her lion back. But I'm interested in seeing her learn to use her magic the the meantime.
Overall, this was a pretty exciting book, with lots of action, magic, and shifters! 4 stars. I will be reading book 3.

Let me just say… the cover drew me in, but everything else tossed me to the curb (this is a review for both book 1 & 2)

I don’t like the MC or Leander… Especially Leander. I really expected the MC to end up falling for a different love interest so the fact she remained with him left me stumbling cluelessly.

This all to summarize, the book didn’t really work for me. But that’s not to say others won’t like it. Just that I didn’t.

Wow this one was just as fantastic as Night Shifter. With Shocks and surprises and betrayal and great new characters Lion Shifter has Exceeded Expectations. Rina and Leo get closer in this one. Jaz and Ky and Boone and Adalia and Dave and Wren are back also and the trolls. We also get to know Sadie and Damon who are Ky and Rina's guards.

Lion Shifter

This second book in the Magicak Creatures Academy series is really funny. Although I'm not sure that it was meant to be funny.

It takes place after summer break when Rina & the gang are returning to school. They are hoping for a nice start to the year & are ambushed the second that they arrive.

What will the term hold?
