Love the series, but this one wasn't as good as I remember.

Another Peter Decker book, about how the Holocaust continues to reverberate for descendants of its victims. But it's also an indictment of the marketing of psychological "tough-love" treatments for rich kids gone bad.

Actually, I'm not even sure I remember committed the murder, but Decker's young stepson helps solve it.

I definitely missed this book the first and second and third times I read this series. It was good, but I kept forgetting that the Isaac Golding storyline existed. I'm not sure what the point of it was, particularly since we never do find the whole truth.

Brief Summary: Rina and Peter's shul is vandalized. The damage is extensive and the anti-Semitic messages and photos are appalling. While Rina works to clean up the mess, Peter investigates the crime and learns that his step-son, Jacob, has connections to the perpetrator. Comments: Reading this series is like visiting old friends. I love learning more about the familiar characters. There aren't any surprises here, but I think fans of the series will enjoy this one.

Like the rest of the series --- a fun read with good character development.

Though I’ve been reading her husband’s books for years, I’d never read a Faye Kellerman book. I picked up this for cheap at the book fair and decided to give it a shot. I didn’t realize it was the 13th in a series! There was obviously back story, but I don’t feel like I was missing too much. The book itself was pretty good. I found myself fairly engrossed by the end. I wasn’t expecting to finish it last night, but before I knew it, I was done!
