I laughed, I cried, I wanted more. Just like the first book, I couldn’t stop reading. I really enjoyed Lisbeth’s continued story, and the anticipation for the next books is real.
I can’t wait to read what happens next!! Give me more!

Book review of Child of the Outcast (Book 2 in the Born Vampire series) by Elizabeth Dunlap
Well if that wasn't a rollercoaster of emotions I don't know what is. I am not often brought to tears by a book but this book did just that, more than once!

This is a very well written addition to The Born Vampire Series. All the characters are strong with the support of and are supported by a strong plot. The steep cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat for the next book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.

I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review.
Picking up after the deadly consequences of the last book, Lisbeth has been captured by the Hunters and is awaiting punishment for helping the Lycan child. When she is dismissed by the Vampire Council on a technicality, she attempts to reclaim her former life. But there are new dangers ahead for Lisbeth, the turned want more freedom and it's up to Lisbeth to figure out a way to save everyone.
Lisbeth really came into her own in this book. Without giving too much away, she made some decisions and it forced her to take more of an active leadership role. She has so much wit and it's so nice to see her use it.
This journey with the vampires and lycans has been a rollercoaster. I can't wait for more.
