This was a fast read, which was part of why I read it to the end, but it wasn't the lighthearted romance I was looking for. It had banter and sexy moments, but my biggest problem was how the character voices seemed to blend together to the point where I had trouble remembering who did what. It didn't click together for me, but I'd still like to check out some of the author's other work.

The Bromance Zone
By: Lauren Blakely
Narrated by: Vikas Adam, Evan Parker, Michael Crouch - epilogue

Lauren Blakely knows how to capture my heart. Snowed in. Best friends. Sexual tension. A code. River and Owen have been friends forever. But there is a code that will not let them cross a line. Friends or lovers, never both. Now years later, times change and so do feelings.Traveling together, they are stuck in a cabin, and the chemistry is about to explode. Will these two take the plunge? Lauren Blakely lets us see the change in these two from crazy college boys to men, needs changing along wth feelings. And I was captivated. It's swoony and sweet, hot and romantic. Loved this story! But the fun doesn't end there! Blakely treats us to two novellas! Dr Good gives us a quick glimpse of Toby and it left me wanting more. And Maybe This Time, the prequel to Jackson and Stone's book was a blast as we got to see how these two first started out. This is a wonderful audio, and Blakely has made my heart happy.

Fantastic narration is a Blakely trait. She knows how to cast her characters! Vikas Adam and Evan Parker are so good together! Each is perfect creating the personalities that are River and Owen. Then we have Toby! Michael Crouch nails him with a quick performance. Then the novella with Teddy Hamilon and Jacob Morgan. Bringing back Jackson and Stone is like a warm blanket. Wonderful book and can't wait for next release!

I got more than I bargained for in this audiobook. The Bromance Zone, Dr. Good in Bed, and Maybe This Time...

Hold on your panties, brief, or lack there of because you are going to need something to get you through all these aural delights!

The Bromance Zone-

Hello BFFs!
Friends forever...check
Unrequited love...check
Lusting so thick...check
Thick everything...oh yes.

Ignore my lecherous thoughts...or don't. The Bromance Zone is a very steamy friends to lovers story with all the makings of Hallmark movie but on a Netflix steamy rating.

Happily ever after with Lulu's hot cocoa is absolutely the way to go!

Dr. GOOD IN BED-

A quick quirky little love introduction. A short novella that offers promise, sweetness, and all the smiles.

Maybe This Time-
Squealing like only a giggling almost 40 yr old woman can. I devoured One Time Only the day it released on audio by this....swoons. This teasing temptation of every lusty, flirty moment makes me want to go back and relive it all again!!!

For the last like 25% I kept genuinely thinking that one of them was going to get run over by a car, just because nothing was happening and I could not fathom that there wasn't ever going to be any tension.

I didn't enjoy this book. I started reading this on KU, but had to move on to the audiobook just so I could finish it. Mostly it's not the book's fault, I don't care for years of mutual pining nor am I at a point in my life where I can relate to 30-year-olds with stable jobs. However, I can confidently say that this would have been better as a novella; there wasn't enough content for 300 pages.

Quick enjoyable story I've come to love from this author.  At this point, if L Blakely writes a M/M story... I will read it.

Wow, is just one of the many fabulous adjectives to use when describing The Bromance Zone by Lauren Blakely. The chemistry between River and Owen has been palpable ever since they were introduced in The Men of Summer Series (Grant and Declan). Which by the way Grant and Declan make an appearance and just maybe do a tiny part to help give a nudge to these two best friends who love with their whole hearts. When you make a list to judge a book such as character development, swoon-worthy hero, chemistry between characters, between-the-sheets action, heat level, and so on, you will find yourself checking each one of those items and then some. This story has ALL the feels, I promise. The narration by Vikas Adam and Evan Parker is delish! I am coming to love audiobooks so very much. The audio version just brings the story to life so much better in my mind. Absolutely and completely recommend The Bromance Zone by Lauren Blakely. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. *****
