Another great one! I loved having Lysi's pov in this one too and get a feel for her life and friends. Some great plot twits too. I'm excited to read the next one!

In that moment, everything in my life came together. Everything I’d ever felt made sense, like the world had opened before me. Lysi was my childhood, my teenage years, and now my future.
look this isn't the best book ever written and there are moments that don't really make sense but i'm going to give it five stars because i loved it so much and there is nothing you can do to stop me
edit lowered this to a 4 because i've been sitting on it and this felt more right. still love this book <3

This one is hard for me to rate. I loved Lysi's chapters, but Meela's were SO boring for me. So the first 3/4 of the book were rough for me to keep picking it up. Then that last 1/4 was amazing, with a great finish.
Despite the slow feel of this sequel, I am looking forward to finishing the trilogy with Ice Kingdom :) soon!

A Wonderful continuation of Ice Massacre! I've fallen in love with these characters! I mean I hate Dani but I love her characterization and understand where she is coming from even when I want to punch her.
I know she didn't deserve to die even though at one point I was hoping for it, then things happened, then she died and now I feel bad.
Lysi, Meela, Annith, Tanuu, I love them so much! It made me think on several things while reading. Themes of family, friendship, loyalty, fighting for what you believe in. Stuff I didn't see coming. So many feels, audible squeaks (I squeak when a book gives me a lot of feels...it's a compliment), tears. That ending is GLORIOUS and I can't wait to read the last book!! Also...GAY (f/f). MERMAIDS. Yes please!
