Liked the twists and turns of the plot, but couldn't get past the purple prose to fully enjoy the story. The writing style was too overwrought and amateurish for my taste.

OMG this book y'all. I grabbed a copy that was being weeded from my public library and I'm SO glad I did. Picked it up yesterday and finished it this afternoon. It's a WILD RIDE from the minute you read about the initial crime through the resolution at the end. So many twists and turns. I wish there was a pill I could take to forget it so I could read for the first time again.
Graphic: Murder and Violence
Moderate: Abortion, Rape, and Grief
Minor: Suicidal thoughts

I just randomly pick this book from the library and I can say that Philip Margolin is a great author.
I won't lie, sometimes it was kind of boring and I can't finish it but the last 80 pages were breathtaking.
He really knows how to end a good book!
