Really good book! I loved taking a trip back to the 80s and high school. I've been thinking about my high school friends and my first love and first time since finishing this book. I can't wait to read the next one!

OK so Trip is my new book boyfriend!! This was a rad throwback to my teen years. I graduated in 1991! I’m serious! This was my life! T. Torrest brought me back to those sweet moments when I thought I knew everything. When young love was my entire focus! I was lucky enough to marry my HS love and we are still going strong 30 years later. Trip and Layla’s story was sweet and fun. I loved every minute of their coming together. I was heartbroken and joyous together at the end. I am so damn happy that there are 2 more books! Stay Golden Ponyboy! ❤️

I must confess I got very excited by the mention of the Midway. Yep. I'm from Jersey.

I really enjoyed this. It definitely brought back memories of being a kid. The writing was perfect for the age group it represented. Trip and Layla were an enjoyable couple. I was glad I waited until all the books were out to start because I couldn't wait to read more. Nice job!

I thought this was a standalone, so I was a little disappointed to find out this is the YA novel of the trilogy. Still, like most romance novels, it will take your mind off anything and everything and was a decent audiobook. Thank goodness the next book in the series is free on audible romance. 😬

If goodreads had the option of giving 20 stars I would give it to this book!! Trip is definitely my Brad Pitt and George Clooney rolled into one *sigh* He had my heart at "Hey! Little girl! Do ya want some candy?" LOL I can't wait for book 2!! The preview of book 2 already has me at the edge of my seat in anticipation!!

This book captured my teenage heart, relating to high school and all the challenges we filter through. i love the description and development of the characters.
there are few real things captured here about what we term "as cool kids"
Having confidence in high school is what it is all about, then this sweet boy comes in. I love it.
I love the story.
First one from this writer and I am in love.

So i bought the other two.....starting to read the second one now.....I can't wait to see everyone!
