Některé povídky mi vykouzlily úsměv na rtech. Příjemné překvapení, co se těch pár výjimečných týče - sice to nejsou zázraky, ale retellingy to byly originální.

---------------------

Since the very first time I saw this book I knew I want to read it. Because last time I kind of like retellings and I also love MM stories - so, could I say no to an anthology of MM retellings? Of course I couldn't.
Asta Idonea created a great universe to work with - the whole company called DunGriffinCorp where we go through all the employees and their love life, all of them inspired by each fairy-tale or myth. This idea is really impressing. We meet all of the characters through all the stories and even watch some "backgrounds" to specific scenes, which was perfect! And don't you try to tell me you never imagined Cinderella with men only. And since all the stories are told by bussinessmen, I was curious even more.
Sometimes I was just wondering with the characters - there's really a lot of them. I understand that even the author could easily get lost, and sometimes I wasn't able to tell difference between some characters. But that was occasional.

So, as I'm used to, I will go through all the stories and review them one by one.

DRAGGED INTO LOVE - 3*
Of course I know the Scandinavian mythology and I love both Thor and Loki, but I didn't know about this myth. So I was surprised what I got in this story. It was predictable, yes - but I still like it. Readers complain about Theo being selfish, but I thought he was cute. I had more problems with Graham, didn't like this guy. But I burst out laughing during reading that, so that's a good sign - three stars as an average.

LOVE'S CODE - 4*
I was really surprised there. The main character, Andre, is programming, which is kind of thing I never understand to so I was amazed by the way he was doing. The way Idonea adjusted the myth about Minotaur was great in every way. And it was even better than the first one, I liked the love line better than with Theo and Graham.

GUESSING GAMES - 2,5*
This was kind of a problem. I understand why readers don't like Sasha, but from time to time I felt a bit sorry for him. While reading this I've already forgotten what kind of story it is, so when I found out, that was kind of surprise! Of course it becomes predictable since we all know Rumplestilstkin, but as I didn't read all the employees on the list, I was excited to know the real name, just like I haven't read the original story.

ASSIGNATIONS ND ULTIMATUMS - 3*
This couple is definitely most cute from all of listed. I loved Ross and Hunter's relationship since the very start, though the storyline was kind of weird to me. It's not the worst one, but not the best one though.

LOST AND FOUND - 4,5*
And there came the big surprise, Cinderella! I was chuckling the whole time. This story was great. Although the ending was a bit strange I liked the plot and I definitely loved Cillian. He's such a sweet boy.

A DEBT IS A DEBT - 5*
Beauty and the Beast is one of my most favourite fairy-tales, so I was kind of glad that this story took place as a last. And when I started reading it, it was sure I'm going to love it. It's definitely the best story from the whole anthology. I loved them both, I loved how their relationship was going. 5 stars without any regret.

The writing style is fast and sweet, you'll probably smile the whole time while reading it. In conclusion; this was a nice surprise. I'll definitely get back to some of its stories. The average of all ratings says it's 3,6, so improved three stars.

Huge thanks goes to NetGalley and NineStar Press for letting me to read this book!

This book featured a series of short stories with characters who all worked for the same company. The stories were very loosely related but there was no over reaching plot. This book would be great for short story or novella romance readers.
