Absorbing storytelling and all the makings of a great story. I would have given it 4 stars but for the ending. Unfortunately the story leaped into the HEA epilogue just as the fairy heroine and changeling hero reached Annwyn. Isaac's visions of the future were cleverly used to take the place of describing the battle for succession to Annwyn's throne - that is, to substitute for the absent second half of the book. The only problem was, this substitution just didn't feel satisfying. I had no chance to experience the development of attraction between Isaac and Ella into love. This is a novella that wanted to be a novel.
