When I finished the Darkest Powers series, I was a little upset that it didn't continue Derek and Chloe's story and relationship. Then, I found out that there were extra stories to go with the main trilogy and I was stoked. So needless to say, I found these stories amazingly awesome. I'm glad we got to read from Derek's POV. It added more "fun" to the story. All in all, an couple of amazing side stories that officially wrapped things up for me. Too bad there won't be any more though. I could always read more about Chloe and her "gang".

Belonging was a good story, we were able to see a little more of Werewolf pack dynamics and Chloe showed her usual skill of somehow getting of danger unscathed. Facing Facts tied up a few loose ends and provided a little more closure, also more Derek and Chloe so I was happy.

This one had 2 stories, one from Chloe's point of view, the other Derek's, both taking place after the trilogy. To read the rest of the review, please visit A Reading Kabocha @ http://areadingkabocha.blogspot.com

Two reasons to read Darkest Powers Bonus Pack 2:

1) I love seeing Chloe and Derek interacting. They're two characters who couldn't be more different, yet put them together and it just works.

2) Belonging is one of my favourite short stories of all the ones Kelley Armstrong has written. It's told from Derek's POV and is about him getting kidnapped by his biological family. That immediately has my attention.

One drawbacks Darkest Powers Bonus Pack 2:

1) Facing Facts is too short to really get into, so the story felt incomplete. I would have liked to see more of Tori interacting with Kit and Simon both before and after the news.

I loved these stories they gave me some insight about what happened after the trilogy. I liked the first story it was good with the right amount of adventure and romance for a short story. I loved the second story more though when Derek meets his family. Definitely a book I will read again. xxx
